Eryngo
Eryngium maritimum
Sea holly thrives in full sun and well-drained, sandy or gravelly soil, making it an excellent choice for coastal or drought-prone gardens. Water deeply but infrequently, as it dislikes waterlogged conditions and develops deep roots over time. Once established, it is remarkably tough and requires little attention beyond occasional tidying of spent flower heads.
