Fairies'-thimbles is a charming miniature bellflower native to alpine regions of Europe, bearing delicate nodding blue or white blooms throughout summer. It thrives in well-drained, gritty or rocky soil and is perfect for rock gardens, wall crevices, or container edges where it can trail attractively. Once established it is drought-tolerant for short periods and needs very little care beyond occasional trimming after flowering.
