Fairy-duster is a drought-adapted desert shrub that produces stunning pink powder-puff blooms attractive to hummingbirds and pollinators. Plant it in well-draining soil and a sunny to partly shaded location, and once established it requires very little supplemental irrigation. It is an excellent low-maintenance choice for xeriscape and native Southwest garden designs.
