False caraway

False caraway is a delicate native perennial in the carrot family, producing clusters of tiny white flowers on slender stems that are highly attractive to native pollinators. It grows best in moist, well-drained soils in meadows, open woodlands, or riparian areas with partial to full sun. Its edible tuberous roots have a long history of use as food by indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest and Great Basin.
