False yellowhead is a hardy Mediterranean perennial that grows well in poor, dry soils with plenty of sun. Once established, it is largely self-sufficient and requires minimal watering or feeding. Its bright yellow daisy-like flowers bloom in late summer and are a magnet for bees and butterflies.
