Fen bedstraw
Galium uliginosum
Fen bedstraw is a delicate, scrambling perennial native to fens, marshes, and wet meadows across Europe and Asia, preferring consistently moist to waterlogged, nutrient-poor soils in partial shade. It is rarely cultivated intentionally but can be a charming addition to a wildlife pond margin or bog garden. Minimal maintenance is required as long as adequate moisture is maintained.
