Forsythia

Weeping forsythia is one of the first shrubs to bloom in early spring, producing a spectacular display of bright yellow flowers before the leaves emerge. It is very adaptable, tolerating a range of soils and light conditions, and requires little care beyond an occasional prune after flowering to maintain its graceful arching shape.
