Froebel's four-o'clock
Mirabilis multiflora
Froebel's four-o'clock is a robust, drought-adaptable perennial that thrives in full sun to partial shade with minimal care once established. Water deeply but infrequently and plant in well-draining soil; it will die back to a tuberous root in winter and re-emerge in spring. This Southwest native is an excellent low-maintenance choice for pollinator gardens and xeriscape landscapes.
