Gaylussacia dumosa

Dwarf huckleberry is a slow-growing native shrub best suited to acidic, moist soils in partially shaded woodland gardens. It produces small white to pink bell-shaped flowers in spring followed by dark berries attractive to birds. Plant it alongside azaleas or blueberries in a naturalized setting and keep soil consistently acidic with a pine bark mulch.
