Great blanket-flower is a tough, sun-loving perennial that produces vibrant red and yellow daisy-like blooms from early summer through fall. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating heat and periodic dry conditions once established. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to extend the blooming season and divide clumps every two to three years to maintain vigor.
