Green-ribbed sedge is a robust, clump-forming perennial sedge native to western Europe, well suited to moist, acidic soils in sun or part shade. It is an excellent low-maintenance choice for rain gardens, pond margins, or naturalistic plantings where consistent moisture is available. Once established, it requires little care beyond occasional division every few years to prevent overcrowding.
