Hairy chervil is a moisture-loving perennial herb of mountain meadows and woodland edges, best grown in humus-rich, consistently moist soil in partial shade. It produces attractive ferny foliage and delicate white umbel flowers that are excellent for pollinators. Ideal for a naturalistic woodland garden or stream-side planting where moisture levels remain high.
