Hairy rockcress is a low-growing perennial suited to shaded or partially shaded spots with well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Water regularly but allow the surface to dry slightly between waterings to prevent root disease. It works beautifully as a ground cover in woodland gardens or along shaded rock walls.
