Hard rush is a robust, clump-forming perennial grass-like plant that thrives in wet, boggy soils and is perfect for pond margins, rain gardens, or damp borders. It tolerates full sun to partial shade and requires very little care once established in a moist site. It also provides valuable habitat for wetland birds and insects.
