Heath grass is a low-growing, fine-leaved perennial grass well suited to poor, acidic soils and open heathland-style gardens. Once established it requires very little maintenance and is a great choice for naturalistic planting schemes or wildflower meadow restoration. It provides texture and movement in the garden while supporting grassland invertebrates.
