Heath groundsel

Heath groundsel is a short-lived wildflower native to open woodlands and heathland edges of Europe, best suited for naturalistic or wildlife gardens. It thrives in partial shade with moderately moist, well-draining soil and requires very little attention once established. This plant is a good nectar source for bees and moths but note that, like most Senecio species, it contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids and should be handled with care.
