Hemerocallis hakuunensis is a species daylily native to Japan and Korea, producing elegant flowers on arching stems and requiring very little fuss once established. Plant in part shade to full sun in well-drained, moderately moist soil and divide clumps every 3-4 years to maintain vigorous blooming. It is an excellent low-maintenance perennial for woodland borders and naturalized garden settings.
