Italian catchfly

Italian catchfly is a graceful Mediterranean perennial producing delicate white to pale pink flowers on tall, sticky stems that are especially attractive to moths and night-flying pollinators. Plant it in a sunny to partly shaded spot with sharply drained, poor-to-moderate soil and it will largely look after itself once established. It is well suited to wildflower meadows, gravel gardens, or cottage-style borders where a naturalistic look is desired.
