Iva frutescens subsp. oraria

Coastal marsh elder is a robust native shrub native to eastern U.S. salt marshes and coastal edges, thriving in salty, moist soils with partial shade. Once established, it requires little maintenance and is well suited to stabilizing coastal shorelines and providing wildlife habitat. This plant is an excellent choice for coastal restoration and native habitat gardening along the Atlantic seaboard.
