Jewelweed

Jewelweed (Impatiens capensis) is a fast-growing native wildflower that thrives in moist, shaded to partly shaded spots such as stream banks, woodland edges, and rain gardens. Keep the soil consistently moist, as this plant wilts quickly in dry conditions. Its bright orange flowers are a magnet for hummingbirds and pollinators, and the sap is traditionally used to soothe poison ivy rashes.
