Lachnagrostis filiformis

Lachnagrostis filiformis, commonly known as blown-grass or common blown grass, is a fine-textured native grass that produces airy, feathery seed heads that catch the breeze beautifully in naturalistic plantings. It thrives in open, well-drained to moderately moist soils in partial sun and is an excellent choice for revegetation, erosion control, and native meadow gardens.
