Large-flower hemp-nettle

Large-flower hemp-nettle is a robust annual or short-lived perennial herb bearing showy pale yellow and purple flowers that are highly attractive to bumblebees and other pollinators. It grows readily in disturbed ground, hedgerows, and garden borders in full sun to partial shade, thriving in average to moist soils with little need for feeding. Sow seeds in spring directly where you want them to grow and deadhead spent flowers to prevent excessive self-seeding.
