Large loosestrife is a robust, easy-to-grow perennial that produces cheerful yellow flowers throughout summer, thriving in moist soil in partial shade or dappled light. Water regularly to keep the soil from drying out, especially during summer dry spells, and divide clumps every few years to prevent overcrowding. It spreads vigorously so site it where it has room to naturalize, such as a woodland edge or alongside a water feature.
