Laurustinus is a tough, versatile evergreen shrub prized for its clusters of white to pale-pink winter flowers and metallic-blue berries that follow in spring. It grows happily in partial shade and tolerates a range of soils as long as they are reasonably well drained, making it ideal for hedging, screening, or specimen planting. Prune lightly after flowering to shape the plant and remove any frost-damaged growth in spring.
