Least pepperwort is a fast-growing, adaptable annual or short-lived perennial that thrives in disturbed soils, roadsides, and garden beds with moderate to full sun. It requires very little care once established and will self-seed readily, returning year after year. The young leaves and seed pods have a peppery flavor and can be used as a garnish or condiment in the kitchen.
