Linum lewisii var. lepagei

Lepage's prairie flax is a rare northern variety of Lewis flax native to the prairies and subarctic regions of Manitoba, Nunavut, and Ontario, producing delicate sky-blue flowers in summer. It prefers well-drained soils and cooler climates, making it a good choice for cold-hardy native plant gardens in Canada and the northern United States. This variety is extremely difficult to source commercially and is best suited to dedicated native plant collectors and restoration projects.
