Lomatium triternatum var. macrocarpum

Large-fruited desert parsley is a native western North American wildflower in the carrot family, valued for its delicate yellow flower clusters and ethnobotanical importance among indigenous peoples. It grows best in rocky, well-drained soils in partial shade to full sun, mimicking its natural habitat in sagebrush steppe and mountain foothills. This specialist plant can be slow to establish and does best in naturalized or xeric garden settings with minimal disturbance to its deep taproot.
