Lunularia cruciata
Lunularia cruciata
Lunularia cruciata, commonly known as crescent-cup liverwort, is a flat, mat-forming bryophyte that thrives in consistently moist, shaded conditions such as terrariums or shaded greenhouse benches. Keep humidity high and the growing surface damp at all times, as it has no true roots and absorbs water directly through its thallus. It makes an excellent ground cover in moisture-loving plant displays but can become weedy in greenhouse settings if conditions are ideal.
