Lupinus albicaulis var. albicaulis

Whitetem lupine thrives in well-drained, slightly acidic soils and prefers a location with partial shade to full sun in cooler Pacific Northwest climates. Water regularly during the growing season but avoid waterlogged conditions, as lupines are sensitive to root rot. As a nitrogen-fixing legume, it rarely needs fertilizing and benefits from being left undisturbed once established.
