Lupinus bingenensis var. subsaccatus

Bingen lupine is a robust native perennial that performs best in well-drained, sandy or loamy soils across its wide range from British Columbia to California. Plant in a spot with partial shade to full sun and water consistently during the first growing season to help it establish a deep root system. As a nitrogen-fixing legume it enriches the soil naturally, making it an excellent companion plant in native and pollinator gardens.
