Lupinus latifolius subsp. latifolius

Broadleaf Lupine is a showy perennial native to the Pacific Coast, producing tall spikes of blue to purple flowers that pollinators love. Plant in well-drained, slightly acidic soil with partial to full sun, and water regularly to keep soil moist during the growing season. Deadhead spent flower spikes to extend the blooming period and prevent excessive self-seeding.
