Mare's-tail is an aquatic perennial best suited for ponds, water gardens, or slow-moving streams where its roots can remain submerged. It grows rapidly in full sun to partial shade and provides excellent oxygenation and habitat for aquatic wildlife. Monitor growth regularly as it can spread vigorously and may need thinning to prevent overcrowding.
