Marsh valerian

Marsh valerian is a dainty wetland perennial that thrives in reliably moist to boggy soils in a partly shaded or sunny position, making it ideal for rain gardens, pond margins, or damp meadows. It produces small clusters of pale pink flowers in late spring that attract bees and other pollinators. Little maintenance is required beyond ensuring the soil never dries out and cutting back spent flower stems after blooming.
