Meadow clary is a beautiful drought-tolerant perennial salvia producing tall spikes of vivid violet-blue flowers that are irresistible to pollinators. It thrives in well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade and is remarkably easy to grow with minimal watering once established. Deadhead spent flower spikes to encourage a second flush of blooms and prevent excessive self-seeding.
