Meadow crane's-bill is a beautiful, clump-forming perennial that produces vivid violet-blue flowers from late spring through summer, making it a standout in cottage and wildlife gardens. It prefers moderately moist, well-drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot and benefits from cutting back after the first flush of blooms to encourage a second flowering. Divide established clumps every three to four years to maintain vigour and prevent overcrowding.
