Messmate is a large, fast-growing eucalyptus best suited to spacious outdoor landscapes in temperate to mild climates. Plant in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil; once established it requires minimal watering. This tree is not suitable for small gardens and should be planted well away from structures due to its eventual size.
