Mexican primrose-willow
Ludwigia octovalvis
Mexican primrose-willow is a fast-growing tropical perennial that thrives in moist to wet soils along pond edges, rain gardens, or boggy areas. It produces cheerful bright yellow flowers nearly year-round in warm climates and requires very little care beyond consistent moisture and full sun to partial shade. In frost-prone areas it can be grown as an annual or brought indoors over winter.
