Mimosa (Acacia dealbata) is a fast-growing, silvery-leaved tree prized for its stunning displays of fragrant, bright yellow flowers in late winter to early spring. Plant in a sunny, sheltered spot with well-drained soil, and water regularly during the growing season while reducing watering in winter. It is frost-sensitive, so in cooler climates grow in a protected position or large container that can be moved indoors.
