Montpellier maple is a compact, slow-to-moderate growing deciduous tree ideal for Mediterranean-climate gardens, rocky slopes, or drought-prone landscapes. Once established it requires very little supplemental watering and tolerates poor, alkaline soils with ease. Plant in full sun to partial shade and enjoy its attractive trilobed leaves and golden autumn colour with virtually no ongoing maintenance.
