Scarlet globemallow is a tough, drought-adapted native perennial best suited to sunny, well-drained or sandy soils in xeric gardens. Water sparingly once established and avoid heavy clay soils that retain too much moisture. Its vivid orange-red blooms attract pollinators throughout summer with virtually no intervention needed.
