Mountain kidney vetch is a low-growing alpine perennial ideally suited to rock gardens, sunny slopes, and well-drained borders where it produces attractive pink-purple clover-like flower heads. Plant in full sun with gritty, alkaline-tolerant soil and water infrequently, as this plant is adapted to lean mountain conditions. It is an excellent nitrogen-fixer and pollinator plant with minimal care requirements.
