Myrsine lanaiensis
Myrsine lanaiensis
Myrsine lanaiensis is a rare Hawaiian endemic shrub found only on the island of Lanai, making it an extremely specialist plant for dedicated native Hawaiian plant collectors. It prefers humid, partially shaded conditions with consistently moist, well-draining soil that mimics its native montane forest habitat. This plant is critically rare and seldom available outside of conservation nurseries or botanical institutions.
