Narrow-leaf bittercress is a delicate, shade-tolerant annual or biennial herb that self-seeds freely in moist, woodland-edge conditions. It thrives in partial shade with consistently moist, fertile soil and requires very little intervention once established in a suitable spot. Its small white flowers are attractive to early pollinators, making it a charming addition to naturalistic or wild gardens.
