Narrow-leaf everlasting-pea
Lathyrus sylvestris
Narrow-leaf everlasting-pea is a vigorous climbing perennial that thrives with a sturdy trellis or fence for support and appreciates moderately fertile, well-drained soil in partial to full sun. Water regularly during the growing season and cut stems back in autumn to encourage healthy regrowth the following spring. Although attractive to pollinators, all parts of the plant are toxic if ingested, so site it with care in family gardens.
