Needle spike-rush
Eleocharis acicularis
Needle spike-rush is a graceful aquatic or marginal perennial that thrives in shallow water, boggy soil, or pond edges with full sun to partial shade. Keep the substrate permanently wet or lightly submerged — it will not tolerate drying out. It spreads gradually by rhizomes and is an excellent choice for water gardens, rain gardens, or native riparian plantings.
