Oenothera cespitosa subsp. macroglottis

This tufted evening primrose subspecies is a low-growing, clump-forming perennial native to the Rocky Mountain region, ideal for xeriscape or native plant gardens. Plant in full sun to part shade with well-drained, gritty soil and water regularly until established. Its large white flowers open in the evening, providing important nectar for moths and other nocturnal pollinators.
