Oenothera pallida subsp. pallida

Pale evening primrose thrives in well-drained soils in full sun to part shade and is well suited to rock gardens and dry borders in western North America. Water regularly during establishment, then reduce frequency as the plant is relatively drought-adaptable once settled. It produces delicate white flowers that open in the evening, attracting moths and other pollinators.
