Oenothera psammophila

Sand-loving evening primrose is a specialist wildflower native to sandy soils of Idaho, best suited to rock gardens or native plant landscapes with excellent drainage. It produces cheerful yellow blooms that attract pollinators, especially at dusk when moths and bees are active. Minimal maintenance is needed once established in the right sandy, well-drained conditions.
