Oriental bittersweet

Oriental bittersweet is a vigorous, twining woody vine prized for its ornamental orange-and-red berries in autumn, but it is considered highly invasive in many parts of North America and should be planted with extreme caution. It tolerates a wide range of soils and light conditions, requiring little supplemental watering once established. Regular pruning and containment are essential to prevent it from smothering native trees and shrubs.
