Our Lord's Candle is a striking drought-adapted succulent native to California and Baja Mexico that requires very little water and thrives in full sun with excellent drainage. It forms a bold rosette of sharp, silvery-green leaves and produces a spectacular tall flower spike once in its lifetime before setting seed. Plant in well-draining sandy or rocky soil and avoid any overwatering, which is the primary cause of decline.
